Ready for a transformation??
After trying many rust-removal techniques such as sanding , rubbing with tin-foil, and plain old scrubbing with baking soda I had to revert to purchasing myself a dremel. The dremel is a power-tool which should enable me to sand the very fine detail on these chandeliers.
Still thinking up ideas for what to do with them when I am done; perhaps elaborate tea light holders, perhaps rewiring them. They are very heavy, so whatever I end up doing, they will need to be extremely well secured if they are going to hang from the ceiling.
